PTSD Diagnosis/Treatment Resources

Diagnosis

Licensed physicians generally diagnose PTSD when symptoms persist for more that one month and cause clinically significant distress and impairment in social or occupational functioning.

Treatment

Because PTSD is a traumatic psychological stressor and is primarily a mental condition, persons experiencing symptoms should seek treatment from a professional.
