MID-ATLANTIC: The Mid-Atlantic ATTC designed wallet cards for Veterans in VA.  Similar to those created by the Mid-America ATTC, the cards contain contact information for essential services for veterans in a handy format.  Co-funded by The Department of Veterans Services Virginia Wounded Warrior Program, 11,000 plastic wallet cards were printed and distributed to the following groups: 40 Community Services Boards, 4 state-wide Vet Centers, Family Readiness Groups of the National Guard, Warrior Transition Units, and Military Treatment Facility Ombudsmen.  The response from these groups has been enthusiastic with requests to print 6,000 more.  The Mid-Atlantic ATTC plans to continue with this successful product by replicating and customizing the card for each state in its region.
