The Addiction Technology Transfer Center National Office has made every effort to ensure that the information available on our web site is accessible to everyone in compliance with Section 508.

It requires Federal and federally funded agencies to take into account the needs of all end-users, including those with disabilities, in their procurement of Electronic and Information Technology (EIT). Compliance with section 508 gives those with disabilities the ability to access and use data and information comparable to access provided to others. If comparable access would impose an "undue burden" to the agency, it will not be required. Any EIT procured before June 21, 2001 is not subject to section 508.
